How did we get here
We’ve been stuck in the same place
For too many long years
Maybe we’re a broken record
No one wants to displace
But how did we get here
In such a miserable place
I’m running on empty
I don’t know what has happened
But I think we’ve both parted
Here is not the same place
Where we once were closer
How did we get here
So far from each other
But no one wants to admit
