Expect of me
I've hear the rumors
That you say behind me
You think it's a whisper
But I hear you blindly
Acting like you're invincible
You think you're so damn cool
Just like we're still in high school
I really hate to tell you but
I know what they expect of me
It's not a whole lot,
With absolutely no sympathy
Will I fall at on my face like I did before
I know everyone expects me to
And come right back to your door
But I know, I know, and I know
What they expect of me
Isn't quite what you're out to see
I know your lengths
And I know my strengths
You're still that that petty boy from before
Not a whole lot was expected of me
But to fall
at on my face
With absolutely no sympathy
Come back to your door
Just like before
But I'm not waiting on your call
Not anymore
When the truth falls out of my mouth
You're not so erce and invincible anymore
When the reality hits you head on
Why is it you try to come back to me
"Oh I made a mistake and I'm sorry"
I don't want to hear the shit anymore
I made a mistake too and it was about liking you
So I'm sorry too
But I know, I know, and I know
What they expect of me
Isn't quite what you're out to see
I know your lengths
And I know my strengths
You're still that that petty boy from before
I know what they expect of me
It's just to fall flat on the floor
To all the little rumors that everyone's heard
The whispers were quiet and distant
But not anymore
I'm never going to let anyone tell me
That I'm some kind of dumb whore
Yeah that's what always seems to go for you
But I was the smarter one who left your ass at the door
I'm not waiting on you to call anymore
And I'm taking you right up to the door
Just to throw all the truth in your face
So you'll see it won't go on anymore
